He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gladbach and Theresa Gladbach (Ewald); his former spouse Sharol Martin; and his daughter Debra Reams. He is survived by: his wife Betty James of Moberly; and his children, Kenny (Sue Gladbach), Kendall (Tamra Gladbach) and Delores White of Marceline. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Fr. McCartan School and mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
