We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2023, at the age of 83, Larry Lloyd of Memphis, Missouri, born in Newton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Baldwin Lloyd and Rena Marie Anderson Lloyd; his grandchildren, Morgan Nicole Lloyd, Jarrod Moody and Emery Dickman; his siblings, Edward (Kathryn Lloyd), Richard "Dick" (Marilyn Lloyd), Donald "Don" Lloyd, Robert "Bob" Lloyd and Mary Ann Iske (Elmer); and his parents-in-law, Edith Lloyd, Ron Butler, Jerry, Janet Havens and Jim Horsman.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Loraine Horsman; his sons, Jeffrey (Beverly Lloyd), Lincoln (Christy Lloyd), Garth (Joni Lloyd) and John Lloyd of Ottumwa, Iowa; his siblings, James (Beverly Lloyd), Thomas Lloyd of Newton, Iowa and Delores Butler of Newton, Iowa; his sisters-in-law, Vera Lloyd of Phoenix, Elspeth Lloyd of Pensacola and Pat Horsman of Newton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Andrea Dickman, Scott Lloyd (Kara), Jennifer Kaiser (Bryant), Kimberly Campbell, David Lloyd, Wendy Botterbrodt (Justin), Michael Lloyd (Emily), Ryan Moody, Christine Curtis (Tyler), Taylor Miller (Michael), Nathan Lloyd (Mollie), Noel Lloyd, Hunter Lloyd, Connor Lloyd, Seth Lloyd and Jackson Lloyd; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Tiffany, Joanna Lloyd, Alissa, Micah, Colin, Madelyn, Kaitlin, Bailey Kaiser, Timothy, Seth, Wyatt Campbell, Miles, Amelia, Claire, Marcus Botterbrodt, Natalie, Cody, Emily Curtis, Coraline and Ambrose Moody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; along with a host of friends.
