He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marion and Gladys Rebecca King (White); his wife Ruby Lucille Woline; and his siblings, Rex, Estyl, Marilyn, Katherine, Jim, Joanne, Merlin and Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Steven C. King (Susan) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Richard A. King (Judith Spencer) of West Branch, Iowa, Thomas D. King (Nancy) of Cedar Rapids and Teresa "Terri" D. Haman (Jerry Haman) of Kirksville, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Clare Mummey (Ben), David King, Marianne King, Barbara King (Carl Protsch), John Haman (JingYi Wu) and Molly Haman; and his siblings, William E. King, Robert D. King and Patricia J. Nicol. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
