With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Martin (Memphis, Missouri), who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 16. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Chad departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Chad. Though Chad may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father James Martin; and his grandfather Alan Martin. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Kay Nolt Martin of Memphis, Missouri; his siblings, Rodney Martin of Memphis, Brandon (Jessica Martin), Arlyn (Rose Martin), Kaylene Martin of Memphis and Karla Martin (Grant Nolt) of Osage, Iowa; and his grandparents, Ervin, Arlene Nolt of Memphis and Vera Fox of Memphis, Missouri.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center (23098 State Rte M, Memphis, MO 63555). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Indian Creek Mennonite Church.
