She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred M. Peterson and Edna Lee Price Peterson; her husband Jack Givens; her son Joe Givens; her siblings, Sam, Randy Peterson, Emma Huling and Sharon Peterson; her great grandchild Joseph Aiden Reaser; her children-in-law, Bob Chance and Ruth Givens; and her brother-in-law Bob Bissell.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Chance of Memphis, Jeff (Debra Givens), Jackie (Joe Doubet) and Jeanne Holt of Arbela, Missouri; her sister Helen Bissell of Fairfield, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Shannon, Amber, Kaleena, Craig, Corie, Brandon, Michelle, Jordyn, Caleb, Josie, Jessie and Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (378 S Market St, Memphis, MO 63555). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse of Faith Church (17927 US Hwy 136, Memphis, MO 63555).
