He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Surber and Neta Surber (Springer); his son Kurt Wayne Surber; his brother Meryl Surber; and his siblings-in-law, Lovene Surber, Darrell Rottmann and Lavaun (Kenneth Ware).
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Susan Surber of Kansas City, MO; his wife Joyce Surber of Meadville, MO; his daughter-in-law Lynn Surber of Stockton, MO; his grandchildren, Austin Surber, Cole Surber of Stockton, MO and Meranda Trinkle (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriell of Hollister, MO; his sister Wilda Rottmann of Meadville, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia McCollem of Chillicothe, MO and Jerry Whitworth (Karen) of Kearney, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
