He is survived by: his wife Sharon VanDyke; his children, Paul Hess (Kori) and Kristin Hess; his grandchildren, Joshua Hess, Alexandria Williams, Annika Hess and Kailey Hess; and his siblings, Jim Hess, Linda Lorino and Joyce Quigley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
