He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rowell and Mary Rowell (Tillman). He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Rowell of St. Joseph, Carolyn Rowell of St. Joseph and Rebecca Carter of Platte City, MO; and his brothers, Kenneth Rowell of Warsaw, MO and Eugene Rowell.
