She was predeceased by: her parents, William McHugh and Cora Stucker McHugh; her siblings, Sarah McHugh and Lance McHugh; her nephew Harrison Carpenter; her niece Mercedes Carpenter; and her brother-in-law Robert J. Loyd.
She is survived by: her spouse Terry Knollhoff; her children, Frederick Whitman (Kristin) of Jermyn, PA, Kimberly Roach (John) of Mooresville, IN, Alexander Mitchell (Amy) of Holt Summit, MO and Teresa Wells (Trevor) of Cheyenne, WY; and her sisters, Sandra Muller (Willy) of Clifford, PA, Debbie Lloyd (Willie) of Scranton, PA, Marlene Carpenter (Harrison) of Vandling, PA, Marla Loyd of Scranton, PA and Julia Lawson (Alan) of Carbondale, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
