She is survived by: her parents, Harold Shumaker and Maureen Quilhot Shumaker; her husband David Degarmo; her stepparents, Carol Shumaker of Buffalo, IL and David Crawford of Carthage, IL; her children, Dade Self of Maywood, MO and Owen Degarmo of Maywood, MO; her siblings, Jon Shumaker (Abby) of Quincy, IL and Leah Nickols (Phil) of Riverton, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle, Abigail Shumaker, Peyton and Tanner Degarmo.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be given to an Education Fund in care of David Degarmo.
