She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett McGlaughlin and Stella White McGlaughlin; her husband Harold Dean Johnston; her daughter Teresa Johnston Belt; her grandson Matt Johnston; and her siblings, Gene McGlaughlin, Tommy McGlaughlin, Betty Ryan, Ruby Short, Mary Baker and Lou Vondell.
She is survived by: her close friend Molly; her children, Reggie Johnston of Quincy, IL and Steve Johnston (Peggy) of Maywood, MO; her son-in-law John Belt of Hannibal, MO; her grandchildren, Shane Miller (Rick) of Ewing, MO, Chad Johnston (Mindy) of Maywood, MO, Nick Johnston of Quincy, IL, Lacy Crump of Augusta, IL and Mandy Smith (Chris) of Augusta, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Tonya Lair of Ewing, MO and Jason Walker of Maywood, MO; and her brothers, Kenny McGlaughlin (Pearl) of Colchester, IL and Gilbert McGlaughlin (Charlotte) of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Maywood Cemetery.
