Though Brenda Kay may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold Lowis; her spouse L. Dale Schawitsch; and her sister Dianna Allen. She is survived by: her mother Opal Lowis (Dowdy); and her siblings, Patricia Gabel, Debra (Jim Rodden), Mark Lowis (Carla) and Gregg Lowis (Tracie). She is also survived by 6 nieces, 3 nephews, several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
