She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Bolander and Farrie Bolander (Rutlege); her daughter Rene Lynn Benwell; and her brother Nile Bolander. She is survived by: her spouse Elver Athon; her children, Sandra Pauline Buchan (Dale) of Oak Grove, MO and Randy Athon (Karen) of Odessa, MO; and her son-in-law Marvin Benwell of Holden, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
