He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James R. Gum and Patricia A. Gum (Schenck); his siblings, James H. Gum (Virginia) of Mayview, Douglas F. Gum (Janice) of Mayview and Vicki L. Davis (Fred) of Chanute, KS; his children, David A. Gum II and Michelle J. Vaughn; his grandchildren, David A. Gum III, Kayleigh E. Gum, Naomi C. Gum, Kyrsten Neverdusky, Devin Mathews and Dylan Mathews; and also, David and Cindy Gum of Odessa, MO. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
