With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Dodson of Maysville, Missouri, born in North Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2024 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Thatcher and Hazel Thatcher (Hensley); her husband James W. Dodson; her daughter Melissa Ann Blevins-Allwood; and her siblings, George, Lonnie Thatcher and Anna Warner.

She is survived by: her daughter Shanna Eggert (Mike); and her grandchildren, Austin (Laura), Chris (Lindsay), Alex (Cara), Erin (AJ) and Jordan. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
