JoElla Gilbert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoElla Gilbert of King City, Missouri, who passed away on July 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Mae (Prather) and Henry DeFreece; her husband Dean Gilbert; and her sisters, Virginia Perkins, Jeanette DeFreece and Marilyn Runde.
She is survived by: her children, Darin Gilbert, Toby, Anita Gilbert, Brooke and Sean McKinnon; her grandchildren, Shae, Devin Breckenridge, Braden Gilbert, Carleen Gilbert, Wylie McKinnon and Lyla McKinnon; and her siblings, Mona Rogers, Helen Beal, Kathryn Langley, Jimmy DeFreece, Jack DeFreece, David DeFreece, Vickie Kling, Debbie Busby and Sharon DeFreece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be used to help the King City sports activities and/or the Pleasant Hill Church new building fund. Donations can be made in care of Turner Family Funeral Home.
