He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lee Morefield Pyles; and his brother Johnny Pyles. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Pyles; his children, Ben Pyles (Amelia) and Jennifer Byassee (Ronnie); his sister Paulette Pyles; his grandchildren, Lyla Pyles, Gerrit Pyles, Sydnee Graham, John Michael Graham, Hannah Byassee and Bellah Byassee; his great grandchild Ivee Blumenberg; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by relatives and countless friends.
His commitment to the community was evident through his involvement in numerous charity events and benefit dinners, where he passionately supported those in need.
