He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Skaggs and Robbie Ester Bradfield Skaggs; his wife Doris Ann Skaggs; and his siblings, Robert Ray Skaggs and Billie Jean Frazee.
He is survived by: his daughter Robbie LaCody Skaggs of Sikeston; and his brother Phillip Skaggs of Chester, Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
