He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Cecil Curtis and Mammie Louise Cothran Curtis; and his daughter Tammy J. Squires. He is survived by: his brother Stanley Cothran Curtis of Matthews; his grandchildren, Beverly Nicole Doles and Dylan T. Squires; and his great grandchild Gage Michael Doles.
