It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Carmichael of Maryville, Missouri, born in Pickering, Missouri, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Carmichael and Pearl B. Carmichael (Damgar); his sister Hazel Bleich (Otto); his brothers-in-law, Dale Clayton and Dr. George T. Hopkins; and his great grandchild Preslee Wendle.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Margueritte Neely; his daughters, Libby Stiens (Tom) and Susan Randle (Bob) of Maryville; his brother John Carmichael (Donna Mae); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Clayton of St. Joseph and Wanda Hopkins of St. Joseph. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-two-great-grandchildren.
