She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller Nelson and Lucille Nelson (Brandt); her son Scott Eckert; and her brother Jon Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Steinman and Tim Eckert; her siblings, Mike Nelson, Pat Nelson and Cindy Nelson-Gray; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsi, Reyen and Laura; and her great grandchild Zephyr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
