It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Steele of Maryville, Missouri, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wegenka, and I. Elizabeth Wegenka, Sr. (Ostrowski); her brother Frank Wegenka, Jr.; her nieces, Patricia Batton and Sharon Wegenka; and her nephew Robert Craig Pierce.
She is survived by: her nieces, Teresa Webster and Cathey Frederickson; and her siblings-in-law, Laveta Pierce (Jack Lee) and Donald Steele (Vivian).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church (333 S Davis St, Maryville, MO 64468). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Mary Ann has requested memorials be made in care of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School, RCIA or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
