With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Lee McKinney of Maryville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Lee McKinney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur McKinney (Pete) and Esther McKinney (Archer) of Maitland; his siblings, Ralph, Larry and Erma (Damewood); and his brother-in-law Donald Damewood (Skip).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bower; his children, Mark, Jennifer, Lauren, Hannah and Keri; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Dylan, Jaidyn and Ashtyn; and his sisters-in-law, Sharron Patton and Rhonda McKinney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Price Funeral Home (120 E 1st St, Maryville, MO 64468). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association in honor of Marvin's lifelong commitment to helping others.
