He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Hartman and Mildred L. Hartman (Armstrong); and his siblings, Robert, John Hartman, Marjorie Gryka and Margaret Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah E. Vulgamott; his children, Michael Hartman (Sue), Kevin Hartman (Jill) and Lisa Lutz (Gary); his grandchildren, Dana Hartman and Matthew Hartman (Sarah); and his sister Doris Neal. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
