He was predeceased by: his parents, William Friend and Mable Friend (Cassingham); and his sons, Jerry Friend and Clifford Friend. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Miller and Wanda Friend; and his grandsons, Robert Miller (Krystle), Jeff Miller, Lawrence Miller (Shana) and George Friend. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
