We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2018, at the age of 97, Emma Devore (Maryville, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Mark DeVore (Sherry) of Branson, Jean Ann Mertens (Wayne) of Omaha and Mary Sue Tompkins; her grandchildren, Major Jarrod (Charlotte), Dathan DeVore, Adrien Erickson, Jase Johnson (Heather), Keegan Johnson (Cyndi), Jenna Townsend (Kevin) and Kimberly McNamara (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Sayers Johnson, Keaton Johnson, Breckin Townsend, Josie Townsend, Brynn McNamara and Elowyn McNamara; her sister Mary Ruth Appleby; her niece Candy Quillen (Appleby); her son-in-law Dwight Tompkins; and her niece Damien Appleby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Elwyn DeVore Scholarship in care of Northwest Missouri State University Foundation.
