She was predeceased by :her husband Merrill Dean Elmore, her parents, Byron Busby and Neri Busby (Robertson); her children, Richard "Ricky" Dean Elmore and Barbara "Jane" Elmore Lager; and her brothers, John and Jim Busby.

She is survived by : her daugher Joni Jean Elmore Power; her sister Gerre Murphy; her son-in-law John Lager; her granddaughter Bethany Lager Getman, her step-granddaughters, Shelle McGovern (Chris), Melinda Eubank (Wyatt) and Trica Claybourne (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Harbyn, Korbyn, Kylie, Cooper, Reiland, Rhett, Brynn, Mya, Grayson and Anthony Jr.; and her caregiver Cathy Law of Maryville, Missouri..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nodaway County Senior Center and the Burlington Junction American Legion Auxiliary.
