We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023, at the age of 94, Alva Pierson of Maryville, Missouri, born in Burlington Junction, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Pierson and Fleta Pierson (Smith); his wife Geraldine Kempf; his son Gary (Pierson); and his brothers, Harlan and Noble Pierson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Colvin (Jim), Barbara Vinzant and Pam Pierson; his sisters, Pauline Pierson and Irene Rodrick; his grandchildren, Levi Colvin (Mel), Shane Vinzant (Ashley), Heather Sutcliff (Chris), Chris Pierson (Lace), Benny Guilfoyle and Rachel Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Lyllian, Josephine Colvin, Landon, Grayson Pierson, Bently and Emberlyn Vinzant (Dolly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
