He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Westermann and Nora Westermann (Meyer); his sister Elaine Bossaller; and his son Steven Westermann. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Westermann of Marys Home; his children, Derrick Alan Westermann (Tonya) and Lisa Marie Strejcek (Steven) of Clever; his brother Richard Westermann (Bertie) of Owensville; his grandchildren, Paige, Travanna (Robbie), Kristin (Caleb), Anthony, Levi (Taylor Rae) and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Maddison, Kinley, Chase, Nicholas and Evalytt; and his godson Matt Dabbs (Angela) of Warrenton. He is also survived by numerous brother and sister-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of their choice.
