She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Sonwalt and Fannie Sonwalt (Brown); her husband Don; and her sister Dorothy Smith. She is survived by: her children, Warren, Holly and Jim; her grandchildren, Mark Hale (Kathleen), Julie Harris (Kaleb), Luke Rodgers (Ashley), Adam Rodgers (Bridget), Hope Adams (Raul), Jake Rodgers (Mandy), Lydia Sexton (Mathew) and Gabriel Hale; and her sister Frances Schooler of Columbia. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Cemetery near Shamrock, Augusta Cemetery near Shamrock, or the King's Daughters Home.
