She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Mudd and Sophie Mudd (Meuth); her husband James David Hughes; and her siblings, Nadine Bastean, Sultana Mudd, Jake Mudd, Billy Carr Mudd, Pat Mudd and Roy Mudd.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Robert "Tom" Hughes of Bowling Green and Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Carline (Jimmy) of Martinsburg; her sister Nora Belle Witte of Troy; and her grandchildren, Katie Jean Carline of Martinsburg, Avery Burdette Carline of Martinsburg and Jackson Patrick Hughes of Curryville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
