He is survived by : his wife Georgia Dahn; his brother Robert Dean Mitchell (Margie) of Oronogo, MO; his sister-in-law Betty Mitchell of Thornton, CO; his nieces and nephews, Vicki Masters (Mike) of North Glenn, CO, Bill Mitchell (Leeann) of Aurora, CO, Steve Mitchell (Roxanne) of Parker, CO, Valerie Bader (Eric) of Columbia, MO, Cheryl Mitchell of Houston, TX and Dan Mitchell (Donna) of Oronogo, MO; his cousins, Donnie Kelsick (Nan) of Buford, GA and Paula Gruber (Jim Stumbaugh) of Montgomery City, MO; his stepdaughter Tammy Purvis; and his grandchildren, April Steffen (J. J.) of Martinsburg, Meya of Martinsburg, Zeevia of Martinsburg and Steffen of Martinsburg.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home - Wellsville (203 E Bates St, Wellsville, MO 63384).

Memorials may be given to the Liberty Cemetery or the Martinsburg Community Church.
