She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Sommer and Rose Sommer (Hakenewerth); and her siblings, Lawrence Sommer (Clementine "Clemie"), Norbert Sommer (Naomi), Andrew Sommer (Barbara "Bobbie"), Wilbert (Darlene "Dotty" Sommer), Sylvester Sommer (Ethel), Roman Sommer and Mary Rose Weber (Aloys J. "Hans").
She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Diane Davis (Dave) of Columbia, Karen Johnson (Jay) of Ashland, Mark Wortmann (Jane) of Mexico, Marty Wortmann (Ann) of Huntsville, Eddie Wortmann (Evelyn) of Overland Park, Danny Wortmann (Teresa) of Wardsville and Rich Wortmann (Caroline) of Franktown, Colorado; and her sister Bernice Halmick Gruen of Gerald. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or School in Martinsburg.
