He was predeceased by: his parents, John Delmar "Dyke" and Lottie Pearl Stuart (Gardner); and his siblings, Elmer Lee "Dutch" Stuart, John Delmar Stuart, Jr., Albert Lloyd "Hoss" Stuart and Martha Frances Nye.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jean Love; his wife Nancy Lee Hale; his children, Brian Kent Stuart, Bradley Chad Stuart of Martinsburg, Regina Sue Stuart of St. Charles, Colby Eugene Pitzer of Wellsville and William Gale "Will" Stuart of Columbia; his grandchildren, Malik Deron Leo Kemp of St. Charles, Austin Derrick Stuart of Martinsburg, Alyssa Rene Pitzer of Montgomery City, Brody Wayne Pitzer of Wellsville, Blake Owen Pitzer of Wellsville, Chloe Leann Pitzer of Wellsville and Jameson Eugene Pitzer of Wellsville; and his sisters, Dorothy Lula Bradshaw of Auxvasse, Leona Ruth "Tody" Oliver of Mexico and Iona Sue "Tessie" (Sam Haislip). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
