He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Wortmann (Amptmann) and Andrew Wortmann; and his siblings, David (Dorothy), Geraldine Peine (Ralph), Ruthie Wilmes (Ted) and Susie Schroer (Norman).
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Wortmann (Sommer) of Martinsburg; his children, Diane Davis (Dave) of Columbia, Karen Johnson (Jay) of Ashland, Mark Wortmann (Jane) of Mexico, Marty Wortmann (Ann) of Huntsville, Eddie Wortmann (Evelyn) of Overland Park, Danny Wortmann (Teresa) of Wardsville and Rich Wortmann (Caroline) of Franktown, Colorado; and his brothers, Floyd Wortmann (Sue) and Leroy Wortmann (Joyce). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or School in Martinsburg.
