With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leland G Schemmer of Marthasville, Missouri, who passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Ella. He is survived by: his wife Ruth I. Begemann; his brother Arlie (Mollie Schemmer); his friends, Syd and Ellen Fees; his grandchildren, Eric, Vicky Nordwald, Jason and Elise Orf; his goddaughter Tracey Schmidt; and his close friends, Terry and Marilyn Smith. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
The family is asking that everyone attending the services to abide by the CDC guidelines, by wearing a mask and honoring the 6ft social distancing.
