It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Henry Stegner of Marthasville, Missouri, born in Pilot Grove, Missouri, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer John and Marcia Alma; his siblings, Rudy Stegner, Leroy Stegner, Laura Gail Schler and Wanda Phillips; and his great grandchild Gideon Stegner.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Lammers; his children, George D Stegner (Joy), Alan K Stegner (Charlotte) and Debra A Borrson (Jim); his grandchildren, Tara Stegner, Jeffrey Stegner (Richard), Steven Stegner (Lisa), Jessica Anderson (Eric) and Andrew Hunewill (Amber); his great grandchildren, Mykah, Phoebe and Madigan; and his sister Lorene Wolfe. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Paul's UCC Kitchen Fund or to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
