He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Vivia Gaddy Macdonnell; his wife Ann Ruth Martin; his sisters, Jean and Lida Margaret; and his children, Sally Alexander, Patty Macdonnell-Smith, Marty Macdonnell, Rick Macdonnell, Jenny Thomas, Nancy Deckard, John Macdonnell and Jeremy Macdonnell. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marshfield Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
