She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chapman and Ninabelle Chapman (Hoover); her husband James Edward Grigsby, Jr.; and her brother Jimmy Dale Chapman. She is survived by: her children, Dr. James Lee Grigsby (Julie) of Alamosa, CO, Susan Elizabeth Hill (Michael) and Edward Chapman Grigsby (Danae) of Dayton, MD; her sister Sandra Bloodworth of Bastrop, TX; her grandchildren, Rachel Bowman, Jessica Grigsby-Hyena, James Aaron Grigsby, Jason Grigsby, Amber Luchsinger, Erica Luchsinger-Saxer, Ariel Luchsinger, Lydia Grigsby and Elise Grigsby; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson, Mason, Evan, Ashlyn, Kyler, Alanah and Gus.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a local animal shelter in her honor.
