It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Richard Sampaio of Marshfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard W. Sampaio; and his grandfathers, Oliver Sampaio and Gilbert DesGranges. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sampaio; his children, Nicholas (Megan Sampaio), Specialist E4 Devan Sampaio, US Army of Ft. Stewart, GA and Jessica Terry of Springfield; his mother Susan Sampaio Bourzikas; his stepfather Tod Bourzikas of Ridgedale; his brother Jason (Carrie Sampaio); and his grandmother Melina DesGranges. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as extended family, and many lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (515 E Washington St, Marshfield, MO 65706).
