He was predeceased by: his father Richard W. Sampaio; and his grandfathers, Oliver Sampaio and Gilbert DesGranges. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sampaio; his children, Nicholas (Megan Sampaio), Specialist E4 Devan Sampaio, US Army of Ft. Stewart, GA and Jessica Terry of Springfield; his mother Susan Sampaio Bourzikas; his stepfather Tod Bourzikas of Ridgedale; his brother Jason (Carrie Sampaio); and his grandmother Melina DesGranges. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as extended family, and many lifelong friends.
