She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jameson and Johnnie Cleo Jameson (Day); her sister Eleanor Thomas; and her husband John William "Bill" Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Brooks (Vickie) and Joe Brooks (Joyce); her grandchildren, Amanda Forrester, William Brooks (Sesily), Brian Brooks (Erika), Dan Tipton and Kevin Tipton (Morgan Race); her great grandchildren, Bradshaw Brooks, Johnnie Bell Brooks, Brooke Forrester and Wade Forrester; her close friend Don Weaver; and her friends, John Bill, Jean Greer, Tom Blane, Bill Whitted and African Safari.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Marshfield Public Schools Foundation.
