With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Downing of Marshfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulyses Young and Elma Young (Caldwell); her son Junior Downing; her siblings, Fred Young and Connie Cantrell; and her brother-in-law Bobby Cantrell.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Downing; her daughter Sandy Lawson (Randy); her granddaughters, Ashley Lawson (Jimmy) and Erica Russell (Heath); her great grandchildren, Gracie Steele, Leah Russell and Zane Steele; her friend Evelyn Bagley Wellever; and also, David and Jim.
