He is survived by: his wife Helen; his stepchildren, Thomas Carr, Linda Cantrell, David Carr and Diana Rice; and his sisters, Bessie and Erma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
