He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Garfit and Gertrude Garfit (Luna); his wife Kathryn Garfit; his grandmother Naomi Brown; and his sister Mary Lou Garfit.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Garfit (Kathy), Susan Underwood (Matt) and Karen Williams (Eddie); his siblings, Mona McMillian (Lonnie), Betty Powell, Kathy Merriett and Ronnie Garfit; and his close friend Shannon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
