We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2021, at the age of 79, John Carey Young (Marshfield, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ivan and Betty Young (Hailey); and his brothers, Joseph Roy Young and James Thurman Young. He is survived by: his children, Mary Price and John Young; his stepdaughter Shatyra Cobbins; his sisters, Mary Martha Shriver, Joyce Elaine Lisle and Jane Anne Harpold; his grandchildren, Cristina Young, Rebeca Young, Kyle Price and Craig Price; his stepgrandson Sekou Finley; and his daughter Betty Jane Jones.
Carey had a very generous and giving heart; in lieu of flowers, he would be happy with individuals donating to their local food bank.
