With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Mathis (Marshfield, Missouri), who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Otto and Erna Wienert (Wesche); her husband Billy Joe Mathis; her grandson Jeremy Lytle; her great grandchild Justice Chavez; her son-in-law Jim Lytle; and her daughter Judy Lytle.

She is survived by: her children, John, Debbie Mathis, Joe and Becky Mathis; and her siblings, Bobby Wienert (Ora) and Carol Baughman (Glenn). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mathis Cemetery and may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
