He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hearod and Georgia Smith Hearod; his wife Gloria B. Hearod; his children, Gloria Nina Loretta Hearod and Rickie Hearod; his granddaughter Candie Dye; and his siblings, Charles Hearod, Raymond Hearod, Helen Stapp, Imogene Hearod and Linda Lou Hearod.
He is survived by: his children, Claudia Reid (David) and Jim Hearod (Carla); and his siblings, Johnny Hearod (Linda), Betty Baltonine (Gene), Dinnie Hearod (Pat) and Larry Hearod (Diane). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
