He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Sjothun and Edith Sjothun (Dimick); and his daughters, Julie Foster and Amy Lee Sjothun. He is survived by: his children, Valerie (Gary Schuman), Mandy Jo (Kirk Bradford), James Sjothun, Jr. and Jeri Lea Oleson; his wife Nancy Sjothun; his son William Scott Sjothun; and his grandsons, Josh Sjothun, Eric Sjothun and James Nathan Foster.
