He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hicks and Lottie Hicks (Perryman); and his wife Joyce Ann Clift. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Hicks (Cheryl Brown), Mark (Kelly Hicks) and Alan (Gloria Hicks); his brother Jerry (Linda Hicks); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarah, Abby, Levi, Jackson, Atlas, Kaiden, Annabell, Nicky, Kasey, Michelle (Jon Helton), Connor (Emily), Tiffanie Blue and Christian Beard (Kris). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
