It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Ruth Shields (Marshfield, Missouri), who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Vincent and May Vincent (Holliday); her husband Earnest Shields; her daughter Janice Jones; her grandson Alex Jones; and her siblings, Don, Paul, Wanda, Wilma, Willa, Kay, Glenance and Peggy Jo.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Shields (Cherrie), Conway, Cindy Wilson, John Shields (Jerri), Rebecca Shields and Dogpatch; and her sibling Shirl Shields. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
